Leah is Katie’s Integrator, bringing her vision and grandiose ideas to life through processes, systems, marketing and business strategy - while fostering team collaboration and honing the beautiful culture Katie has built within the team! Leah has a get-it-done personality and is a jack-of-all-trades, which allows her to support and lead from behind the scenes on all the things with the business! She came from the world of Advertising but her passions lie in home and fashion, which made her transition into this industry seamless! She and her husband, Travis, have been together 20 years and have two beautiful daughters, Willow & Stella. Leah is obsessed with vintage, crafting and reading.

Lead Interior Designer

Sara is our Lead Interior Designer with a flair for all things classic, timeless, and vintage. She is incredibly skilled in soft finishes, specializing in textiles, wallpaper, color, & pattern. She excels in focusing on the needs and style of our clients, always exuding a calm, listening presence. Sara also has a fantastic, well-rounded operative skill set that is essential to our team. Sara has a hand in nearly every aspect of the business, from administration to project management, client relations, and of course, design. Her energy is grounding and calming and her eye for detail is unparalleled. She, her husband Nick, and son Miller, have lived in the Houston area for several years.

Director of Architectural Design

Nick serves as our Director of Architectural Design and brings over 12 years of fantastic architectural design experience to the KHI team! As a kid growing up in the Houston suburbs, he was fascinated by the city’s never-ending residential sprawl and used that intrigue to foster a career as an architectural designer. Nick has never met a stranger and is truly one of the kindest people you will ever encounter. Nick believes all spaces are worthy of being marveled at no matter the size, shape or scope. He loves bringing unique ideas to life and crafting beautiful spaces for people to call home. Outside of dreaming up your next home, you can find Nick at the gym, on the bayou, or at El Tiempo (not necessarily in that order).

Director of Client Experience

Grace keeps our clients well cared for and is the heart of the business! She has a background in the hospitality industry, which you’ll see in the extra love & care she puts into every project. Grace’s energy feels like a warm hug and she will always greet you with a big smile (and most likely a cookie). Grace manages so many important details behind the scenes to make sure our team and clients have the best experience. If you have a project with us, big or small, you have encountered Grace’s hard work and kindness. If you haven’t met Grace yet, you’ll know immediately that she is driven by a passion to serve others. She and her husband, David, love to try new restaurants in the Houston area and travel!

Interior Designer

Rheagan, or Rhea as we call her, is our passionate interior designer with an eye for thoughtful detail and beautifully balanced spaces. With a strong foundation in residential interiors, Rhea excels at translating a client’s vision into cohesive, livable homes through careful space planning, curated material selections, and well-considered details. Her design style embraces the art of juxtaposition— thoughtfully mixing vintage and modern elements, layering rich textures, and creating spaces that feel collected, comfortable, and timeless. Rhea and her husband, James, love hosting game nights with friends and spending time at home with their two dogs, Frankie and Bruce Wayne.
